ParticipantOften when clicking the calendar export button, I am not able to export the current month being displayed.
I believe I have found a way to re-create this issue.
Step 1. Open upThe month of November 2018. https://www.gracechristianalaska.org/events/2018-11/
Step 2. Click the next month a couple of times to January 2019.
Step 3. Click the export button. The resulting export is from August 2018. (see attached)
I’m also noticing that the URL is not always updated when navigating months. Maybe that is part of the issue?
Based on documentation, I believe that the export button should be exporting events display on that page. What are we doing wrong?

KeymasterHi Kym,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Indeed, it seems there’s a bug with your URL, and it’s possible it’s part of the issue regarding your export button.
Maybe there’s a conflict somewhere. Could you try to deactivate all other plugins to see if that makes a difference? And then, could you try to revert back to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen)? You may want to read our documentation about testing for conflicts before doing anything.
In case you don’t have a staging site to do those tests, you may consider using a plugin like Plugin Detective and/or Health Check, each of which provide a troubleshooting mode that aims to ensure your site will continue to operate as normal for regular visitors.
Please let me know what you find out during the process.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Jeremy,
I have the site on staging, running Twentyseventeen, all plugins are disabled except for Event Calendar and Event Calendar Pro.
It looks like we have the same issue. I move forward a couple of months, export still exporting August.
Here is the staging url. https://gracechristak.staging.wpengine.com/events/
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Kym,
It’s great you have a staging website, it will make debugging easier 🙂
That being said, it’s weird that I can’t reproduce on my local environment the problem you’re mentioning, whereas I also have Twenty Seventeen and all plugins disabled except for Event Calendar and Event Calendar Pro. Just to be sure, could you confirm that you also have TEC 4.6.21 and PRO 4.4.30.1 on your staging website?
And could you send me a backup of your staging website, maybe using a plugin such as Duplicator?
Thanks in advance,

ParticipantHi Jeremy,
We are using the latest version on the plugins.
The Grace Christian site is very large (bigger than 2GB). I’ve included a login below for the staging site…you’re welcome to take a look, or do a duplicator download directly.
We run Events Calendar Pro on another website that looks like it has the same issue. I open the full calendar page, click the next month twice, and it exports August events instead of what’s displayed on the page. Here is the link: https://www.kenaitze.org/calendar/
We use WPEngine. One other commonality is that both sites use Genesis. I also believe both site are on PHP 7.
Thanks for looking into this further.
