    I find this absolutely ridiculous, and one of the reasons I will not be renewing my Events Calendar membership until an update has been made. People have been asking about this for years (see below), yet you are still demanding that folks submit addon requests for this? I find that ignorant, and offensive. So far your only solution has been to suggest downloading 3rd party plugins that are either no longer available, or must be purchased. If you don’t see the necessity for something like this to come native to your own software, then I’m sorry but you need new leadership.

    It is true that our plugins do not provide that feature at this time. I am sorry to disappoint.

    I agree. We will not be renewing because of the lack of this feature. If you have a search enabled for your website and someone tries to search your events there instead of the calendar’s search field, they will get results from various dates in the past as well as future, which is very confusing.
