MemberHey slayer91,
Are you referring to this box?
“Clean up recurring events after”
That is only in the pro version and only for recurring events, not your typical single event.
You could try using a plugin such as Auto Prune Posts to do what you are asking.
Does that help?

ParticipantIs is there no option or way to make it delete old events?
Seems like quite a necessary feature?

MemberI am afraid there is no option included.
However, there is a free plugin that can do this clean up.(sorry just learned about it)
It is not an official, but it is created by developers of the plugin.
Please read through the plugin instructions and back up your site before using it.
The Events Calendar Housekeeper
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-housekeeper/Will that work for you?

ParticipantOne last thing, I have the events list view on the home page, is there a way for that to display only current events and not past events?
September 23, 2014 at 7:23 am #761475Brian
MemberThat is strange by default it should only show upcoming events.
In the Events Settings on the General Tab are you using this option “Include events in main blog loop” to show the events on your home page?
I also took a look at your site and did not see the past events anymore did you remove them?
Let me know and we can try to help you out if you would like.
Thanks

ParticipantIm not using the include in main blog roll feature? I have set up a stand alone home page and used the sidebar widget to achieve this.
Would your way be recommended to achieve this view as the widget is also limited to 10 events.

MemberI am not sure I have a recommended way.
It depends on what you are trying to do.
You could try moving the list template coding into your home page and playing around with that to get it to you.
You could create a custom loop of events and show theme that way.
Either way these are customizations we can help answer questions on, but you would have to do yourself.
If you are fine with showing 10 events only using the widget, that would be a good way to go.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks
