Events with multiple/recurring days over several weeks

Hi,

I’ve been using TEC Pro for a while on a couple of projects and love it.

I have a complex scenario for which I’m trying to work out the best way to set this up in Pro.

I have a total of 8 identical events. Each event is a training course.

Each event takes place over 9 weeks with a total of 17 days within each event.

The first 16 days of the event recur on a Weds and Thursday over consecutive weeks (total of 16 days, 2 days per week) with the final day occurring a later week (the day of the week for this last day varies).

I’ve been setting up similar events using the recurring feature without a problem, but to avoid any confusion for our customers, we would like to be able to append the event title with identifiers automatically so we don’t have to manually edit each entry.

For example.

Event 1 – Week 1 – Day 1
Event 1 – Week 1 – Day 2
Event 1 – Week 2 – Day 1
…
Event 2 – Weeks 1 – Day 1

I suspect I’m asking too much without some custom work, but is there any way of achieving this with TEC Pro out of the box?

Thank you for being so descriptive in your post. Unfortunately, I can’t think of an easy way to do this, though I see the value in why you want to do. With that said, your best bet is to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit it as a feature request. If you need it done on the fly, we have a list of customizers that can help.
