ParticipantHappy New Year folks 🙂
I’ve styled my event page (or a developer did) but now I see that my events are showing in the wrong order. You can take a look here: http://kirsebaergaarden.com/kalender/
It starts with november 25, after that januar 8 and so on. Any ideas on what causes this?
All the best,

MemberHi there Frederik,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you on this 🙂
Let me say it’s just how photo view grid works. Basically the library that produces the grid has this way of ordering the elements, were the upcoming items are the closest to the top of the grid. Check out this complete explanation of how this works by Cliff → Photo View Orders Events Out of Date Order…
Please give that a read and let me know if you still have doubts about it,

ParticipantThanks for your reply Nico. Then it’s not a very usable solution you’ve made for the PhotoView – it’s a calender, of course it needs to be in order 🙂 Are you planning to fix this bug in your January update?
Thanks,

MemberThanks for following up Frederik!
I can totally get your idea, but we don’t consider this is a bug! It’s more of how the library works actually. So no plans to change how this works for now.
One possibility is to set all event an equal height in this case they will be ordered correctly by date → Change Photo View to equal-height grid.
Isotope has an option to sort items by it’s original html order, but forcing this will result in a weirdish grid as the items height are not equal, and there will be blank spaces here and there.
Please let me know if setting all items an equal height works for you,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
