Events page title

Hi there,

I am working on the theme High End and, with default page view, for some reason my page title for events page is coming out as “ARCHIVE”.

1) Do you know why this may be?
2) What can I do to fix it?

On a secondary note, when I click to pick a date, the date picker goes behind the calendar so I cannot actually click on this. Why might this be?

We are sorry to hear about the page title of your events page appearing as “Archive”.
I would love to help you with this topic.

It could be a few things. The good news being this is usually fairly quick to figure out.

The main reason for this is that by default, the Events Calendar is using the archive.php template from your WordPress theme. Depending on the theme, sometimes, the title “Archive” gets displayed by default on such pages.

The first thing I would recommend trying is to:

1. Go to Events -> Settings -> Display
2. Look for the Events template setting
3. Change it to Default Page Template
4. Save Changes

There is also a good chance that this will solve the datepicker issue.
