ParticipantI saw this in a thread from Thomas: “After the update to 4.4.3 Our Events page will load and briefly show the events themselves, but when the page fully loads, the Events disappear and are nowhere to be found. Any help?”
This is what is happening to one of my clients.
Thomas says they changed their CSS to address this. Does anyone know what CSS was changed?

ParticipantAdditional info: This happens when the default view is set to Photo. When the view is set to List you see the events.

KeymasterHello Eric,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry you are having this issue as well.
Unfortunately I don’t know what CSS was used by Thomas, but do feel free to add your question to his thread, or in case it is closed, then send me a url to that thread and I can do that.
Also I was looking around in our files and it looks like we have a similar bug logged. It looks like this happens when you use “Skeletton styles” under Events > Settings > Display tab. Try changing that to something else and see if that helps.
A possible workaround until this gets fixed would be to downgrading to an earlier version of our plugins.
I hope this helps, let me know.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Andreas,
The is the URL to the thread that’s now closed: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-are-a-no-show-after-update/
I’m using Full Styles, and tried switching to the others with no luck.
Downgrading has had no effect… which is very odd.
Something I’ve noticed from a local dev version of the website is that the live site has additional css classes for isotope while the old site doesn’t. Also, on the new site, each event post is positioned on top of one another. See the absolute positioning in the code below. This is obviously more than just a CSS issue. Maybe the isotops js is messing up?
<div id="post-3013" class="type-tribe_events post-3013 tribe-clearfix tribe-events-category-event tribe-events-category-upcoming-events tribe-events-venue-2807 tribe-events-organizer-2642 tribe-events-photo-event isotope-item" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;">March 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm #1250725Andras
KeymasterHi Eric,
I checked that other thread and the website related. Maybe it’s this piece of code:
#tribe-events-photo-events.isotope { opacity: 1 !important; }But I cannot be sure of that. I will leave a question to Thomas in the other thread.
We have some bugs reported with isotope and photo view, but I’m not sure if your issue falls into any of those. In case you’d like help and for me to be able to help you out with this I would need some more details from you.
- Make sure you go through our conflict testing guide.
- Please share with me the system information of the site where the problem exists?
- Share with me please a URL where the issue can be seen.
Best is if you have a staging site set up where you can play around with the setting without disrupting traffic on the live site.
Let me know.
Cheers,
