Events not showing up as single posts on homepage

Hello,

I cannot get the events to post on the homepage. Below are answers to some questions you asked in the past.

1. No, it has never worked.
2. Yes, I have selected “Include events in main blog loop”
3. In the WP site settings (under Reading), “Front page displays” “latest posts.”
4. We use WooThemes Spectrum. Both the Framework and Theme are the latest versions.

Hi Nancy, and welcome to the forums! Sorry you’re hitting some trouble here with events displaying in your homepage feed of posts. Let’s try to figure out what’s happening together.

Any time I’ve seen this sort of thing happen in the past, it’s because the homepage is actually set up with a custom query of posts rather than the latest posts alone. Is it possible this is the case as well?

One way to check is to activate a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Fourteen. I see that you noted trying this already. Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating the Spectrum theme and activating Twenty Fourteen instead?

And, just for good measure, will you please confirm that you have run through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts Guide?

Please give that a try and let me know what you find. That will help us first determine if there is a theme conflict or plugin conflict at play and will help guide us which direction to go. 🙂
