Hi – referencing this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/plugin-says-i-need-a-multi-site-license-but-i-only-have-one-ecomm-site/
Events were working fine, but suddenly they just stopped showing up on the front end of this site: http://store.wholehealthchicago.com/workshops/
So, to try and fix this I ran updates for both WordPress, Woo Commerce and The Events Calendar – but the events are still not showing up. And, when I go into Events in wp-admin, there’s not even a way to add new events, that functionality is gone too.
I’m still getting the “you need a multi-site license” messages, but now in the backend of my account on The Events Calendar site theres a big red warning that says I need a multi-site license.
Not sure what to do now, everything was working fine but then yesterday the events that we have in our site just stopped showing up on the front end.

Thanks for contacting us and I’m sorry to hear you’ve experiencing some troubles.
I’m still getting the “you need a multi-site license” messages, but now in the backend of my account on The Events Calendar site theres a big red warning that says I need a multi-site license.
We’re aware of this issue and I appreciate it is annoying – but I’d like to reassure you that it will not impact your site on a functional level. In other words, Event Tickets Plus will continue to operate as normal.
So, to try and fix this I ran updates for both WordPress, Woo Commerce and The Events Calendar – but the events are still not showing up. And, when I go into Events in wp-admin, there’s not even a way to add new events, that functionality is gone too.
This is a lot more concerning and I’d like to focus on resolving this first of all.
So should this normally show your main calendar view, as generated by The Events Calendar? One thing I notice on reviewing your system information is that The Events Calendar isn’t actually there. Is it possible that it was accidentally deactivated or removed? Alternatively, perhaps due to version mismatches it is unable to run.
Can you confirm it is indeed activated (or network activated) and what it’s version number is?
Thanks!

The Events Calendar was not showing up as installed, you are right – not sure what happened there but it was originally installed when we started selling tickets. I reinstalled the calendar plugin, and the events are still not showing up. Attaching a screengrab of my wp-admin so you can see that the version is 4.4.5 (but still says it needs to be updated). I have existing events / tickets in the system that are not showing up in Events, but are still in Woo Commerce, and they were originally entered thru Events. Attaching screengrabs of those too, as well as a receipt from a sold ticket that was built in Events, so you can see that it was working before this issue popped up. Tickets are supposed to be listed here: http://store.wholehealthchicago.com/workshops/list/
Please let me know if you want access to the wp-admin to look at this closer.
April 19, 2017 at 9:04 am #1271661BarryMemberOne of your screenshots shows that there is a slug conflict: you seem to be using workshops for both your event archives and for a page. Often, that simply means that The Events Calendar will take precedence but in some environments things don’t work out that way.
To test this theory out, can you navigate to Events → Settings → General and modify the Events URL slug field to something else – perhaps simply ‘events’ – then save the change and navigate to Settings → Permalinks: you need change nothing on this screen, but accessing it causes WordPress to rebuild the rules it uses to route pages.
With that done, see if your event views become accessible again.
April 19, 2017 at 10:24 am #1271769GreggParticipantUgh, that did not work. New screenshots attached. What it DID do though is get the events / ticketing function back again (made a test event and am showing you a screenshot of that too), and is showing up at the /events page… but unfortunately none of my existing ticketed events are showing up, which presents a real problem. I could re-enter / rebuild those events (there’s only a few) if necessary, but I have already sold tickets to those (there’s a limited number available) so that creates an inventory problem. Any ideas? I can still give you guys /wp-admin access if you need to look at this.
April 20, 2017 at 1:28 am #1272006BarryMemberHi Gregg,
So it sounds like that in fact did work in terms of making the main events page accessible, but the new problem is that all of the events you had previously entered are missing from the database. Does that summarize things accurately?
I’m curious: it sounds like, previously, the plugin was accidentally deactivated – did this coincide with any other work or changes made to the site?
Do you have a backup available?
