Events Loop Not Loading

Hello,

The events loop in map viewing mode does not seem to be loading properly since 4.4.5. It spins without fully loading the events and adding locations to the map. The events underneath are there so that I can click on the title to take me to the single event. When in list mode all events show up but the layout is all wrong so I am unwilling to have this showing for the public. Single events are fine, events loop via shortcode in widget on homepage works fine as well.

This issue is unfortunately only happening for the public. When I’m logged in everything functions just fine. I also am unable to reproduce the bug in my local testing site. The only plugin I don’t have installed on my testing site is Wordfence Security but I deactivated this on the live site and it made no difference.

In the Console (F12) I can see that issues are being flagged but that is beyond my understanding. It appears to be calling the admin-ajax.php file which is forbidden. As mentioned above it only happens when logged off on the live site.

Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help.:)

I’m not able to replicate  this issue on my test site, so it seems like this may be a theme or plugin conflict. Can you confirm that you’ve gone through conflict testing using the steps here ? If so, what did you find? If not, could you please do that and get back with me?

thanks for your reply. We found the culprit. WP-SpamShield had a bug and was just updated today. The previous version was causing issues with the above mentioned “admin-ajax.php” file. Thankfully all is resolved.
