Events List Widget – won't show any Events

Hi there, I’m new to Events Calendar Pro and have unfortunately a little problem with the Events List Widget. We have quite a few Events set up but they will now show up in the widget, it just says there a no upcoming events currently (see sidebar http://hoffnung-licht.ch/aktuelles/). If I use the Events Calendar Widget which has the Calendar with the List of Events underneath, this shows up not a problem with the events (see near bottom of page: http://hoffnung-licht.ch/). What can I do to fix this? Thanks for your help.

A couple of quick things to try to help diagnose a particular issue here:

1. If you add the event list widget to your footer where the mini calendar is at, do the events appear then?
2. Can you try adding the list widget on the single post pages (http://hoffnung-licht.ch/einladung-zur-winter-erfrischungswoche-2016/) and see if the events display then?

Hi, thank you for such a quick response. I tried both of these things. Unfortunately they both show the same with ‘there are no upcoming events at this time’.

Thanks for following up.

I was thinking there was a potential conflict here with other loops on the page for that particular widget area. A next step would be to follow our Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict here with another plugin or a conflict with the current theme.

Hi there, we have now managed to identify that the problem lies actually with our theme template we bought for our website. It is not an events calendar issue, thanks for the assistance.
