ParticipantHello,
When I use this: [tribe_events_list category=”source-forest” limit=”5″] on a page, it only shows the next five events as long as they are not duplicate or ongoing events. I would like to show the next five events, but also show the duplicate events that happen every week. How can I get it to do this?

MemberHey Chery,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Could you please specify what do you mean by duplicate events? Are you referring to recurring events? I ran a test locally and can confirm that recurring events are being correctly displayed while using the shortcode.
Thanks!
Patricia

ParticipantWell, for instance, we have two events that repeat weekly.
When we place the shortcode on the page, it only lists the next one coming, even if we have more events upcoming after that one. Does that make sense? Here’s one of the pages:
http://thesourceabq.com/the-source-forest/
The shortcode has a count of 5 events, but as you can see, there are only 2. However, the Community Garden is every week, and we have monthly classes called Harmonious Landscaping. We’d like those to show up, as well.
Let me know, and thank you for answering!

MemberHi Chery,
Thanks for sending us more information about your problem.
I ran a new test in my local WordPress install but still can’t reproduce the pattern you described: when I use the following shortcode:
[tribe_events_list category=”shortcode” limit=”5″]
with weekly recurring events under the “shortcode” category, all of them are correctly listed (screenshot here).
To get started, please make sure that all of your plugins are up to date. If the issue persists after the upgrade, I would recommend you to open up your browser’s console and verify if there are any relevant javaScript errors in there.
If you find an error, please run a Conflicts Test. You can start the test by temporarily changing your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the problem is solved after that (don’t forget to backup your database before changing anything).
Let me know your test results! If you have any other questions in the meantime please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
Patricia

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
