Events in main blog loop reversed

I am a newbie to this forum. I am having the same problem. My events are showing up essentially by published date.I only want the events to show up by date of event. I am new to WordPress and am hesitate to try the solutions of turning on and off plug ins.

Hello!

First off, thank you for your purchase and welcome to our premium plugin support forums! By default, events should display by their start date, so I’m not sure why they’re displaying by their post date. Can you temporarily revert back to the default WP theme and deactivate all plugins other than ours as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide to see if you’re experiencing a theme and/or plugin conflict?
