ParticipantHi there I am trying to set up Events Calender Pro with Community Events on BulletPress by HB themes. I am using WP 3.6. I’ve tried turning off plug-ins but has no effect on the issue.
If I switch to another theme the Events Calender shows up and the event posts look correct. But when I re-activate my theme BulletPress the calender just disappears. If I link directly to an event listing it just shows as a regular post.
Is there a work around to this?

ParticipantHi, jussibr. Thanks for letting us know about the troubleshooting you’ve done thus far.
Have you had a chance to reach out to HB Themes to see if they have any guidance? While we cannot guarantee integration with every theme and plugin out there, if the theme developers see something we’re doing that’s not compliant with WordPress standards, we’ll definitely make whatever changes needed to comply with best practices.
Would you mind checking with HB and getting back to me with their response? In case it’s helpful, all of our technical documentation is available publicly at http://docs.tri.be/.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Kelly,
Yes I have had a reply from HB themes… see below:“We haven’t used that plugin before, so we can’t tell what could be wrong.
BulletPress is a modern theme (supporting latest version of WordPress) built on WordPress standards. Please contact us over email with your website url. Also try to contact the plugin author and ask them about the problem.”Thanks for any help you can provide.

ParticipantHi there,
I wanted to give you a follow up on this issue as I’ve been doing some experimenting with the settings of Events Calender Pro.
If I set my Events Template to ‘Default Events Template’ I do see the calender. I also see the posts but they do nor appear correctly.
The calender content (whether displayed as month, lists etc) shows up at the very bottom of my page just above the footer (instead of showing next to my sidebar at the top left).
Also the event posts when clicked show up as a basic post at the top of the page (in the correct position) but then also show up again in the correct Events Calender formatting at the very bottom of the same page above the footer (one must scroll down to see).
If I choose a different page template (from my theme) the content just disappears altogether.
I’m sure there must be a simple work around to this, just don;t know what it is!!
Thank you.

ParticipantHi, Justine. Would you mind sending us a link where we could see this behavior? That could be very helpful in troubleshooting.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, Justine. Our developer took a look at your theme just now, and was wondering if you could get some info from HB to help you resolve your issue.
Specifically, please ask HB whether the post title, content, and comment form is outputted on single pages using a hook or a special function, and if so, how you can disable that functionality. If you can get the code to disable the post output functionality, then we can help with how to only run that code on events pages.
If it helps you out, you can tell HB that our template just calls get_header(), includes our plugin’s output, then calls get_footer(). We think there’s something happening during get_header that includes the default looking post content.
Hope that all makes sense. Let us know what you hear back from HB.
Thanks!
