GuestI have an odd issue happening. I use the Canvas theme and Sensei for an online school. This issue probably started with a recent update but could be a little older, as the site was not being maintained for a few weeks.
When I have Events Calendar Pro plugin activated, there is a widget for the next event on our calendar at the beginning of the body of every lesson in all courses. It is showing up where the lesson’s video (emedded from Vimeo using Sensei’s built-in video embedder).
When I trashed that next event that is showing up, the subsequent one showed up in the same space. This widget shows up INSTEAD OF the vimeo video that goes with each lesson. When I deactivate The Events Calendar Pro, but keep The Events Calendar (non-Pro) the error is fixed.
I see the setting that says “Include events in main blog loop”, which has always been unchecked. I checked it, saved, then unchecked it and saved and the problem persists.
Any clue what is going on? I have uploaded an image of the offending widget, which appears in the place of every lesson’s video here: http://imgur.com/cPfbAf8
Thank you!

MemberHey James,
Ah yes, we are indeed aware of this issue and it’s related to the new oEmbed feature we released in 4.1. For the time being, the best way to get rid of it is to downgrade The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO to version 4.1.4 while we work on an official patch, which I see is slated for version 4.2.2 if all goes according to plan.
I’ve noted this thread in the issue ticket and will definitely keep you posted as we learn more.
Thanks for the heads up and sorry for the trouble here!
Geoff
P.S. I’ve moved this thread to our Events Calendar PRO forum. The URL will be the same, but it will be easier for others to find. 🙂

MemberHello James and thanks for chiming in.
You can pick up past versions of the premium plugins in your account here on this site. You can also grab past versions of The Events Calendar here on WordPress.org.
Once you have the earlier versions, you can follow the steps outlined here to downgrade.
Cheers!
