    Updateing 4.4.20.1 to 4.4.21, I get this error message: URL error 61: Unrecognized content encoding type. libcurl understands deflate, gzip content encodings. See context 8in German) below. Is this a known issue and how can I proceed? Is it save to download the release from my account and install it manually? Is there a fix?

    Hello,

    I’m sorry that you’re running into this error…we have had several other users reporting this same problem and are currently looking into what might be causing it.

    In the meantime, you can update manually by following these instructions. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?

    Hey,

    Good news! We have fixed this issue in our plugin updates server. No software update is required for the fix to be applied, plugin updates should just work fine now 🙂
