Events Calendar Pro Plugin will not update.

When I go to update Version 4.4.19 to version 4.4.20.1 I get the following message:

An error occurred while updating The Events Calendar PRO: Download failed. cURL error 61: Unrecognized content encoding type. libcurl understands deflate, gzip content encodings.

I would like to update the license is valid it Expires on 2018-10-20

Hello,

I’m sorry the update isn’t working for you! We have seen a few other reports of users getting this same error recently and are looking into what could be causing it.

In the meantime, you should be able to update manually by following these instructions. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?
