Events Calendar PRO organizer directory?

Hi there,

We use Events Calendar right now, but we’re looking to upgrade to pro for recurring events and more venue/organizer features. Ideally we’d like to have a directory of organizations in our community that people could browse, filter and search, and we’d like to be able to attach various categories and tags to those organizations.

I’m wondering whether this would be possible with Events Calendar PRO, perhaps with minor modifications on our end — I can’t tell how much the organizer features would allow us to do, or if we should go with a separate directory plugin.

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! Have you read through our article on Venue and Organizer pages? That will hopefully give you a good overview of the default features.

There is not a built in way to specifically search venues or organizers, or add taxonomies like tags and categories. That said, venues and organizers are WP Custom Post Types, so it’s very possible that with some customization or a third-party plugin, you could do the sort of thing you’re looking for.
