Events Calendar PRO maxing shared server resources

Hello –

I am using the Avada theme with Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. Your plugins are maxing out my physical memory usage (512) causing the site to crash. When these plugins are deactivated the spikes in the memory usage immediately drop from 512 to 180.

What is the amount of physical memory needed for this plugin to run in a shared hosting environment.

The amount of memory needed, like other server resources, really depend on many variables. We have a great article that will get you started on Performance Considerations.

When you say that our plugins are maxing out the memory usage, are you having issues with a particular page in your site? How many events are there in your site? Let us know about this.
