    I have upgraded to the Events Calendar Pro (from standard) and when I activate I get this message : “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.”

    I have read this thread:

    Events Calendar Pro Not Working

    But this is a big site, and I cannot uninstall all plugins or change theme. The customer will not allow it. The free version ove Events Calendar worked fine.

    Any ideas?

    I have deactivated and removed (deleted) the free version from my site. Is that a issue?

    Hi Geir Tore. Yes, you need to leave the free/core The Events Calendar plugin active. PRO is an add-on plugin for it.

    Let us know if this solves your issue.
