ParticipantI purchased an Events Calendar PRO license to gain access to the recurring scheduling capabilities, but am very disappointed. First, the plugin does not work. When I create try to add a recurring schedule, it does not let me select the end date. More importantly, I only want to use the plugin on the main site of a multi-site WordPress install, but it indicates I must purchase a multi-site license, and the fee is ridiculously high just to get recurring entries for a single site. If the plug-in worked, I would simply ask it to be limited to one site, but since it doesn’t even work, I would like a refund.
Note: I use the DIVI theme.

MemberHi Eric
I’m sorry you are having such difficulties. You are in fact fine to use Events Calendar Pro on just one site within a multisite. Unfortunately, this means that updates will be manual. If a new update is released, you’ll have to manually download the plugin, network activate it, and activate it within the main site.
Can you show me a screenshot of the recurring schedule issue that you are having? I can’t seem to replicate that glitch myself.
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂March 29, 2017 at 6:48 am #1261415Eric
ParticipantCourtney,
When I select “Schedule Multiple Events”, the view updates and the Event Series appears (it also jumps my browser back to the top of the page). I then select “Weekly”, but no options appear to indicate when the recurring event should end (screen shot attached). If I try to remove the Event Series, the Trash can sometimes works, and sometimes does nothing.
Also, if my use of Events Calendar is compliant, can the constant message indicating that my license is invalid be suppressed. Furthermore, why am I not entitled to automatic updates if my usage for a single site within a multi-site implementation is acceptable.

MemberHi Eric
I’m sorry this is still such an issue. Â Regarding the updates, you are entitled to auto-updates on a single site. Â However, the issues to get auto-updates working on a multi-site license are more extensive than we’ve had resources to allocate towards resolving that at this time.
I will ask our developers about why the license isn’t valid message stays open.
Have you tried Testing for Conflicts to resolve the schedule multiple events issue? I’ve seen this issue before be caused by a theme.  It is still worth also retesting plugins as well.
Let me know what you find out about the theme conflict.
Thanks,

ParticipantI’ve started a Javascript console on my browser, and when trying to use the scheduling features, I get a “Can’t find variable: moment”, which is being thrown from line 239 of events-recurrents.js
Please let me know if your development team can address this.

ParticipantI re-deployed the events-calendar-pro plugin, and it seems to be working now. Some of the files must not have been uploaded the first time.
