    I upgraded events calendar pro to 4.4.24.1 after upgrading the Events Calendar to 4.6.12, and the admin side of word press becomes inoperable. It causes the server to display a 504 gateway error. Once I remove the Pro it goes back to working fine.

    I also download version 4.4.24.2 as It was newer, with the same results.

    Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

    Can you also try deleting PRO and manually updating?
