ParticipantIs it still not possible to translate additional fields with WPML? If not, what you suggest for workaround?

MemberGood evening Madis and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. To make a long story short, we have do not offer official support for the Events Calendar Pro additional fields yet.
That said, I believe that reusing the approach from https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-filter-bar-with-wpml/ will work.
You will find your custom fields in the admin screen translations. More specifically, they will be under tribe_events_calendar_options > custom-fields
One word of caution though, this will probably only work with manual translations (as opposed to using the Classic translation editor).
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood morning Madis,
Thank you for writing back.
As stated earlier, support for custom fields is not official at this point. As such, I will be limited in the amount of help I can offer towards resolution of the issue.
That said, I believe there are 3 things you should explore.
Hopefully, that will get things to work.- Caching might be getting in the way.
a) You might have to empty the cache, if you have a caching plugin installed.
b) Try using a private browsing window (to bypass browser cache)
c) Try emptying WPML’s cache under WPML > Support > Troubleshooting (after a DB backup, you can try most of the buttons there)
- Check the translation setting for custom fields in the Event page Scroll all the way down to the “Multilingual Setup” section of the page and display the “system fields”
- Make sure you are using correct parsing In string translation, use WPML’s recommended separator between translated values for each custom field.
Finally, last but not least, you should consider contacting the good folks from the WPML team (they will be interested in increasing compatibility with the Events Calendar).
Cheers,
