The site was working fine last night. This morning, everything appears to be working fine, EXCEPT the display of the full calendar (see link above). The page is set as UNBLOCKED. So, it should display the calendar on the main page. to everyone. Then, if a (non logged-in) user drills down into one of the events, they would get the “you must be logged in” message and a log in screen. Instead, a non-logged-in user sees the page header & footer, but the content is blank.
Changes from yesterday:
Today I added a bunch of venues.
I added 2 new user roles (I have since deleted them just in case something went awry there)I did not do anything to functions or css files.
I did run a backup last night, so I restored the css/functions files from that, just in case. No difference.
If a user logs in, they can see the calendar (et al) just fine.
The calendar page is set up as follows:
No parent
Order:0
Unblocked
Template: One column, no sidebar (I see the same issue irregardless of the template used)
Content Permissions: All user roles have the checkbox checked (the behavior is the same if all checkboxes are unchecked)Custom Fields: (I didn’t set these up – they just are there)
ultra_metaslider_slider value: nothing there
ultra_meta_slider_overlap value: 1
ultra_meta_slider_stretch: value: 1Theme: Nirvana-child
I tried the Twenty Fifteen theme to see if it was something in my Nirvana-child theme – but the behavior is the same across any of the themes I tried.Events Calendar Ver 4.0.3
Events Calendar Pro V 4.0.3
(I tried updating, but ran into errors where pages wouldn’t show, so went back to 4.0.3). What I ran into was documented by others in the forum, so I’m waiting to upgrade again until I know all is good.)February 4, 2016 at 5:40 am #1067454Cliff
MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
Our plugin doesn’t have any access restrictions/controls so I’m guessing it’d be something with your settings.
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
It turned out that the Members plug-in I was using to set user Roles, had the “Enable Content Permissions” feature turned on. When I disabled this, then the calendar displays just fine.
I will follow up with the Members plug-in folks to understand this better.
Apologies for pinging you folks on this one.
