ParticipantHi,
We’re using Calendar Pro and Eventbrite Tickets.
We’re using the latest versions of both plugins and WordPress itself.
Our most recent event, created on Eventbrite and imported to WordPress keeps being reset to draft. No changes are being made to the event on Eventbrite.
If we set the event to live again, it works, though at some point – when we check the following morning – it’s being reset to draft status again.
The event on Eventbrite is public and not a recurring event.
We’ve tried deleting the event completely in WordPress and re-importing it. We’ve also tried deleting the event in Eventbrite and recreating it and importing it again – still, the event keeps returning to draft status.
Previous events seem to be working absolutely fine.
No other changes have been made to the site since the problem arose.
What could be causing this?
Thanks for your help.

ParticipantHey @Linh,
Sorry to hear about these issues!
We’ve had a few reports of similar behavior cropping up recently, so there could be an Eventbrite API issue here.
Before jumping to that, though, there are a few things worth investigating:
1. You mention using both Eventbrite Tickets and Events Calendar Pro, but your account here only shows a purchase of Eventbrite Tickets. Where does your copy of Events Calendar Pro from?
2. Can you post your “system information” to help us investigate? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
3. You write, “Previous events seem to be working absolutely fine,” which is interesting. If you create any other NEW events on your site/Eventbrite, do these issues happen uniformly with any event you try to make?
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you for this information, @Linh.
I’ve been tinkering a bit on my own test site and have not yet reproduced these problems, and all of your site’s information is up-to-date, so unfortunately there might be a deeper bug going on here at the root of these issues.
We are working on a deep investigation into Eventbrite because we’ve had a spike in issues like this. There have been API issues in the past and they might be happening again.
What does this mean? Well, unfortunately it means that we’re going to keep investigating. I don’t have many specific things to recommend at this time. 🙁
Stay tuned to this thread, though. I will be posting updates if we have any!
Sincerely,
