I’ve seen this question on the forum, but no answers there.
We’ve installed the Eventbrite plugin, including the correct keys, etc., but get an error after clicking to authorize:
Allow IAC by IAC to access your Eventbrite account?
When we say Allow, we get:
http://israeladvocacycalendar.com/tribe-oauth/eventbrite/?code=52KIMFB7BVEPBSKIF7OX
Not FoundThe requested URL /tribe-oauth/eventbrite/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I’ve tried to reset the password and such but to no avail.
Thank you

I’m sorry to hear this!
I’m wondering if, first, can you share your site’s “System Information” here? Here’s how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.
Next, try going to Settings > Permalinks in your admin area, and just click “Save Changes” without actually making any changes. This may seem like an odd thing to do but is a little “trick” within WordPress to get the permalinks across your site to refresh, which might help here. Then try reauthorizing and such and see if anything is improved….
Thank you!

February 8, 2016 at 9:09 pm #1069912GeorgeParticipantThanks for this information @Robert, I’m sorry that issues persist here!
1. What are your site’s permalinks setting? Are they /%postname%/, for example? If they are NOT /%postname%/, then try changing them to that option and saving changes yet again. This may make a difference if your permalinks settings are not set to this already.
2. Has this issue been persisting since the moment you installed Eventbrite Tickets? Or was there a time when things worked well, then you updated some software on your site or something, and then these issues started happening?
Thank you so much for your patience, @Robert!
Sincerely,
GeorgeFebruary 9, 2016 at 5:24 pm #1070515RobertParticipantThank you, George. Indeed, postname was the culprit.
Best regards,
Robert
February 10, 2016 at 11:51 am #1071001GeorgeParticipantAwesome – glad to hear some progress here. Thanks for the update Robert, and best of luck with your site!
Cheers,
