Event Widget does not display on home page

I honestly have not been monitoring the site in a while. I just renewed the license for this site and noticed that the events are no longer displaying on then home page. http://www.stroudsburgwesleyan.org/

Sorry for the issues you are having.

Have you tried anything to get the widget to reset?

Such as deleting the widget and then re adding it?

Or does it have any categories set and that is the reason it is not showing events?

Let me know and we can go from there to troubleshoot this.

Hi Brian,

I removed the widget and put it back and added a category and my event is now showing on the home page. I was of the impression if there were no categories any event would appear on the home page using the widget.

Correct if there are no categories it should show all events.

So you Widget is only showing when there is a category selected?

If you have not already can you try adding another without the category and see if that works.

Let me know how that turns out and we can go from there.

I did and only the event with a category shows.

Ok how strange.

Since that is not working on its own it sounds like a conflict.

To see if you can narrow down what is causing the issue.
