Paul
ParticipantJust updated to version 4 and some event times are now incorrect
My WordPress timezone is correct
In Events Cal settings I have set ‘use sitewide timezone everywhere’
The event is using also ‘New York’ (correct)
However the event time is shifted +5 hrsSee screenshot – http://screencast.com/t/eWFdHitM3

ParticipantI am also having this issue, but mine is shifted 8 hours. I’m on the Pacific Time zone and have “sitewide timezones everywhere” selected. I tried changing both the WordPress timezone and the options back and forth to see if that would help, but it didn’t change the time shift.

MemberHey Folks,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for this issue you are experiencing. Let’s troubleshoot this a bit to ensure it’s a bug in our end.
So from what you state I understand this was working as expected before the update, right? Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
If this persists in default conditions please I’ll try to reproduce this on my end and confirm/log this bug in our system, so it can be addressed as soon as possible.
Please let me know about your findings,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico,
Thank you for your note. I changed the them to Twenty Thirteen, Deactivated all plugins (besides Events Calendar and iCal Importer), Cleared the browser cache and then tried to reimport my events. The time is still displaying incorrectly in the one test item I can get to display. I just purchased this plugin, so I’m not sure if the times would have displayed correctly prior to the 4 update. I also posted about an issue where my existing events are not importing. It says I have “6 events and 0 were imported.” The events are previewing just fine, they just won’t import. The only event I can get to display is a new event that I created called test. (April 13 3pm-) Please read my other post to learn more about the issue happening with iCal Importer.

MemberHey Isabelle,
Thanks for following up on this! I guess the problem you and Paul experiencing might be different. In his case he doesn’t seem to be using iCal importer, but in your case it seems to be related to the fact that you imported the events from an external feed.
I mean if you create a new event from the WordPress dashboard, Does it show up correctly on the front-end? Because from what Paul described I understand the issue we are trying to address here.
Regarding your other issue, it will be addressed by someone in the team shortly but for now check this answer to a similar case: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ical-import-worked-once-now-your-search-returned-no-results-every-time/#dl_post-1029844
Please let me know about it,

MemberHey folks here,
First of all thanks @hansp21 for jumping in here and for suggesting a possible solution to the issue 🙂
@ Paul, Can you check the solution Hans posted?
I think your case is not related to daylight saving date, but I might be wrong so please elt me know about it,
