Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus

Hi there,

I’m already using your event and ticket products, but need it for another site. My issue though it that my client would like tickets to be sold within the current Woocommerce shop framework (within a tickets category) rather than through an events page using the events plugin. Can Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus be used on its own simply using a Woocommerce simple product or does the Events plugin also need to be used?

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! Yes, Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus can be used without the calendar plugin. You can allow tickets to be sold on posts, pages, products, or any other custom post types. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Thanks for this. Could I confirm whether I have to install both Events Tickets and Event Calendar to manage Events Tickets being used as a standalone product? Also, are there any instruction on using Events Tickets within a Woocommerce product?

Hi Matt,

You do not need to install The Events Calendar, only Event Tickets. If you want to use the paid ticketing functionality, you’ll need Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.

We don’t have any particular instructions on using Event Tickets within a WooCommerce Product, but you will certainly want to review the New User Primer. If you need additional help, you can post in the Event Tickets Plus forum.
