ParticipantPlease see my previous ticket regarding Event Tickets RSVP not working – the Salient theme developer looked into and said “There seems to be a JS Error thats causing the Button Js not to work. Please contact the Plugin developer so they can help resolve it.”
See attached screenshot for details. Is this something you can fix?

MemberHi Marilyn!
Thanks for coming back to us regarding this issue.
After some tests on my end, I could reproduce this on my local installation and I can confirm this is indeed a bug on our end.
The good news is that I could find the corresponding bug report and we are already working on it. I can’t commit to a date for a fix, but it seems very likely that it will be released in our next maintenance release of our plugins next week.
I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

ParticipantHi,
Unfortunately that did not fix the issue with my site. See test example here:
https://pennfield.wpengine.com/event/grades-5-8-cyber-security-discussion/Going live this afternoon so I will have to delete that test in a few hours but as you can see, it’s not working.

MemberHi Marilyn!
Thanks for following up with this.
I’ve just checked your site and you’re not getting the console errors you were previously getting from our plugins.
The ones that show up seem to be from fonts not being found, which are likely coming from your theme or another plugin. I can also see similar console errors in other pages of your site where non of our scripts are loading.
Try changing to a default theme and see if any difference. If no difference, then try disabling all other plugins except ours and see if any changes.
Let us know about it.

ParticipantHi Victor,
Those RSVP disappeared b/c the event was in the past. Here’s one I added a TEST RSVP to so you can see that the +/- buttons still are not working:
https://pennfield.wpengine.com/event/seussical-the-musical/Still nothing on your end that you can do? It did seem to resolve with a different theme but my theme developer said it was related to a JS issue… you’re saying that’s not the issue any more?

MemberHi Marilyn,
Thanks for testing that out.
I can see the buttons not working on your site. I’ve just tested out on my local installation with a copy of the Salient theme and I can reproduce the same on my end, so it seems to be a theme issue.
The problem seems to be caused by the theme adding the plus/minus buttons and changing the default behavior of the quantity input.
Please get in touch with the theme developers to let them know about the issue so they can give some insight about it.
Do let us know if there is anything on our end we can do to help.
Thanks,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
