GuestHi,
We have a multisite with 20 sites and 1 main site. All sites run event calendar. However only 1 site, the main site, has woocommerce and users. I wanted to know if the subsites running the event calendar can sell tickets through the main site woocommerce install? The trick is that subsites have different events from the main site and other subsites, so events are unique.
We just need the main site to run the payment processing, order tracking, email updates, etc and the subsites to have the ability to add their own events.
Suggestions on what we can do as a work around or if Event Tickets Plus can solve our problem?
Thanks!

MemberGood afternoon Nate and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I wanted to know if the subsites running the event calendar can sell tickets through the main site woocommerce install?
Technically, that would probably be possible.
However, for this to work, it would most likely mean that the all of the events are actually created on the main site (even if they don’t display there).
The reason for this is because to create a ticket, you absolutely need WooCommerce installed (which is not the case on your subsites).
So there are a couple of approaches to this:
- Create all of the events and tickets on the main site, each assigned an event category that matches the subsites names (for filtering).
- Embed the calendar on the subsite filtering by category using an iFrame OR
- Create a copy of all these events on the subsites (without the tickets) and add a link to the ticket URL on the main site
If coding is not really your thing, you can hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thanks so much!
