    Hi. It seems that every time I update Event Tickets Plus, the plugin is deactivated, and refuses to activate. Eventually it does, but today it won’t —- so tight now, I can’t sell tickets to my org’s classes. We just opened for the season, and no tickets. Please help!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for emailing support and sorry you are having issues with the update. This can happen sometimes if the connection to update the files was interrupted. Please try to manually update the plugin and let me know how that goes.

    Thanks for the response. The plugin was not interrupted; it just refused to activate. I know this because here is how I was able to activate it: I deactivated Event Tickets; activated Event Tickets Plus (successfully); then reactivated Event Tickets. So: I’m activated now, but this is a regular issue, which I think needs to be investigated. I can provide an admin login if that would be helpful, next time there is an update, and y’all can try it yourselves. Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the info. We are not able to log into customer accounts, unfortunately. I have seen this happen before when Jetpack is enabled. Not sure what exactly causes the issue with the conflict, but try deactivated jetpack next time this happens and see if you are able to activate the event tickets plugin.

    If that doesn’t help, the next step in troubleshooting this is going to be testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins (with WP_DEBUG enabled). If you need a testing environment, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
