Event tickets: how does it work with recurring events

I am a event calendar pro user and run a personal training company. I am using the ticket feature to have people register for our group training classes. I am running into an issue because when I set a date for an event and then add recurring dates and someone clicks on say 10/18 @ 6 pm to register for the class but the event originated on say 10/8 and the 10/18 6 pm class was one of the recurring dates in the group the moment someone tries to register for that class it says the event is expired and gives the origination date. Please help me understand why this is happening? How would you then be able to register for classes in a recurring series?

Thank you for reaching out! At this time, Event Tickets and Event Tickets plus are still incompatible with recurring events, but rest assured it is in the works! I snapped a screenshot from Things to Be Aware of in Version 4.3 of The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and Premium Add-ons, which I’ve shared below.
