How do I change the email “From” address for the RSVP confirmation? How do I manage other aspects of the email, such as content?

As for the content of the email, you can customize it to your liking since it is HTML based.
This can be done via a view / template customization.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Thank you for writing back.

The short answer to your question is yes.
To modify the email, you will have to modify its HTML content.

If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

Another alternative would be to perform all your desired changes on a “dummy” WordPress page in the visual editor. Once that is done, you can simply “Steal the HTML” (either from the “Text” tab or using “View source” while viewing the page preview).
