Event ticket plus + calendar

Hello,

I use event ticket plus, adding tickets right inside a page. There is a “calendar” with “Course days” but that doesn’t seem to do anything and I can’t find any information about it in the documentation.

Whats worse, I was hoping to use it with Events Calendar but that just seems to show event made as a specific event and it doesn’t show the event created.

Am I using the plugin wrong? Whats the point of “Course days”?

The good news is that Event Tickets Plus works great with the Events Calendar.
However, tickets added to pages directly will not show up as events in the calendar.

If you want an event containing a ticket to be part of the Events Calendar, you will need to add the ticket to an event using the Events Calendar, not through a page.

My question now is, how do I sell tickets through the Event Calendar? It seems like this way is a lot more complicated. I can’t even find way to able people to register (https://www.makeupinstitute.cz/event/test/)

I can totally help with that.

The good news is that the process is exactly the same as the one you used for adding tickets to a page. All we need to do is make sure you to tickets appear properly in events.

Since I am unsure of what your setup is, I am going to give you a quick troubleshooting guide:

1. Head over to Events -> Settings -> Tickets. Make sure that “Events” are checked under Post types that can have tickets. If not, please add it and hit “Save Changes”.
2. Head over to any Add/Edit event screen and look for the ticket Metabox (it should look exactly like the one you found in a page). If it does not show up, hit the “Screen options” menu located at that top right of your screen. Make sure “tickets” is checked.
3. Once you create a ticket, make sure that the Start sale date is set to today

Normally, with all of those steps, the tickets should show up and it should be a walk in the park to add tickets to events.
