My client is having issues with her event stock changing every time someone purchases (and sometimes even just randomly). There is no pattern to how the stock is updating.
For example, in one event, the stock had been changed from 14 to 10 overnight. My client changed the number back to 14, and saw that there were 10 out of 14 spots booked.
Then, someone purchased a ticket to the event, and when she went back to check, it said “11 out of 13 tickets sold”.
This is obviously very frustrating as every time someone purchases a ticket she has to go in an edit the stock. Thank you for your help

I see this thread is on the Community Tickets forum, but it seems you don’t have a Community Tickets license. I guess maybe your issues is not related to said plugin? I suspect not.
Can you please indicate which e-commerce plugin is the site using? And also it would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.

ParticipantHere are few more examples of the issues:
New Thai Favourites – May 6th had 12 spots open
Jasmeen Bains buys 2
there are now 4 sold and 8 spots open (instead of 10)And just now, “Weeknight Healthy” sold 4 tickets, which should have sold it out, but instead the stock jumped up to 24
There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the random stock changes!

Thanks for the extra information! I’m mostly sure this behaviour is caused by a known bug which fix is included in upcoming release 4.1. The new release should be available mostly sure tomorrow. Can you please update the plugins and re-test the issues?
Please let me know if the update doesn’t fix these issue so we can continue to troubleshoot and log them!
