Kristopher Cummings
GuestHello:
I am looking into Event Calendar Pro as an option for my organization’s online calendar solution. I have previously used it on a separate project and found it to be one of the premier solutions.
However, before I purchase a license for Pro, I have one item that I need to work out. I have an event that I need to post to the calendar that runs on a Saturday and a Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 each day. This is not a recurring event, it is two sessions of the same event (part one and two).
I am using Event Tickets as well to collect RSVPs, so I do not want the event to be listed twice (that would give the impression that they are two separate events, or that the days are not connected).
All other features I am looking for are currently in Event Calendar Pro, but I need to know that there is a way to do this before I am get the license.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

KeymasterHi Kristopher,
Thanks for checking out Events Calendar Pro! That’s awesome to hear that it’s worked well for you in the past! 🙂
For this scenario, you could create:
- One event that runs from 10:00 on Saturday to 14:00 on Sunday with an RSVP
- Two events, but only include the RSVP on the first event with a link in the second to RSVP (on the first event)
- One recurring event, which will display separately on the calendar, but the RSVP will apply to the series (meaning both dates); individual tickets for each day will not be created
If you go with the recurring option, you have the option in the settings to only display the first instance of each recurring event in list-style views. However, the event would still show on both days (from 10:00-14:00) on the month, week, and day views.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Pro for a test run to see if this will work for you, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
