Our team is wondering if it is possible to prioritize search results based on category and/or price. We are using the Events Calendar on a site for a local music festival. The client would like to assign priority to events that cost more to attend in order to drive attendance to those events. When their users search for festival events using the Events Calendar, they would like to customize the search results so that events that cost money appear first.

Thank you for your question.
The short answer is yes, it is totally possible to do what you are looking for, but it is not a built-in feature.
As such, you will need a programmer to do some custom development. To get started in the right direction, I recommend reading my colleague Leah’s great pointers on that very topic.
I hope this can help you achieve what you are looking for.
Is there any other question I can answer for you ?Have a great holiday season!
