ParticipantHi,
The Events Calendar is allowing my event to oversell. I listed the stock as 8, but 14 people were able to buy tickets and received confirmation emails. This is a big problem, as I could not accommodate everyone. When I went into the attendees list to look, it appears that the extra 6 people were Awaiting Review. This has happened before but I’m not sure what the Awaiting Review is and why paypal allowed the sale to go through but the Events Calendar did not register this as a sale and fill the class.
I’ve posted a screencap of the attendees. Only the 8 non-pending action were listed below this.
I’m using WPEC. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

ParticipantHi there,
I have shared my information.
Here are some of the problems I am having:
This class was capped at 6, but 8 were allowed to buy tickets:
Here’s the backend, not sure if it will link, but I’ll try:
http://sewdesignstudio.com/cms/wp-admin/post.php?post=1052&action=edit
This upcoming class is capped at 4. The list of attendees shows 3, but the class is showing sold out?
Here’s a screenshot:
Will await your reply.

MemberHi Yolanda!
Thanks for coming back with all the sys info.
I tried reproducing the issue myself in a local installation but failed to do so.
Somehow, there’s part of the sys info that I’m not finding, so could you please tell me the options you have selected for When should attendee records be generated? and for When should tickets be emailed to customers? You can find that by going to Events > Settings > Tickets tab. You can send me a screenshot of it.
Also, could you please go to edit the event and then scroll down to edit the ‘June Basics’ ticket you have and send me a screenshot of the tickets settings? Make sure it shows the tickets stock settings. You can send all of this in a private reply if you’d like.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Victor,
Thanks for looking into this for me! I am looking on the events > settings > tickets page but don’t see either of those options. Could they be somewhere else?

MemberHi Yolanda!
Thanks for following up on this.
Sorry for the confusion here. I’ve just realised you are using WP eCommerce to sell tickets and not WooCommerce. Those options are only available if you are using WooCommerce.
When selling tickets, Event Tickets Plus delegates the stock management to the e-commerce plugin. So you should check how WP eCommerce manages the stock and out of stock products and adjust its settings to prevent it from overselling your tickets.
I’ve found the following documentation about the product settings that might be helpful > http://docs.wpecommerce.org/product-settings/
Bear in mind we no longer support WP eCommerce plugin. That said, it should still work to sell tickets, but with future updates of our plugins some conflicts may occur.
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions.
Best,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
