ParticipantI have a weird issue here. We have the Events List widget in two places and we’re using the sidebar plugin that lets you select which sidebar to use on each page. The widget on the home page works fine. If I add the widget to a sidebar on an inner page, then it shows no events. If I select to use the home page sidebar on an inner page, then it works fine.
What’s going on here?

Does the event widget work normally when applied to sidebars without the sidebar selector plugin being activated? It sounds like this could be the primary source of conflict, if so, when activated do you see any javascript errors or any other issues on the page? You could try using the Developer tools within your browser to get more information about the conflict if this is what is occurring.

ParticipantThanks Josh. I agree, and that was the first thing I tried. Failing that I opened the topic here (sorry, should have noted it). I created a fresh template with a custom sidebar similar to the other one and it had the same issue. I even setup a custom template file for the plugin to override the widget code and did a var_dump() on the $posts and on the home page it was showing the array, and on the inner page it was blank.

That definitely is strange. I haven’t been able to replicate the issue locally though. Have you tried following the complete Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t another conflict occurring with another plugin or your active theme? This will help us to narrow down what the ultimate cause may be.
