ParticipantHi there
Im having the same issue with my site: iodscotland.com
Test site:
http://franklydifferent.com/iod1213/
As this issue: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/issues-after-update-event-list-showing-page-title-and-current-time/I have a test site with no plugins activated and using a default theme.
Any ideas? I just upgraded to Wp 4.0 with no luck.

MemberHi Mark, thanks for getting in touch.ย That’s definitely strange, but let’s see if we can tackle it together.
I see you’re using this URL in your main menu:
http://franklydifferent.com/iod1213/events-listings/
I also see that the URL for a single event uses the same slug:
http://franklydifferent.com/iod1213/events-listings/annual-conference/
I’ve seen this sort of thing happen when the same slug is used for both the calendar view and the single event view. Are you able to change these in Events > Settings? Try using “event-listings” for the “Events URL slug” and “event” for the “Single event URL slug” field and let me know if that helps.
By the way, thanks for providing a test site with the defaults–this is super helpful!
Cheers,

ParticipantOk i tried those settings but still have the same problem.
Should I try removing all my events and start over and try to replicate this?
Or do you want access to the test site to check anything yourself?September 23, 2014 at 1:01 am #760577reddishpink
ParticipantActually the annual conf is still showing the event-listing slug. Is there a problem with the entries maybe?

ParticipantI think I fixed it. There was a version conflict – I was using an older version of Pro than the regular release. I updated Pro and it seems to be working now!
Thank you!

MemberHi there Mark, thanks for following up and confirming the issue! And again, setting up the test site was really awesome. ๐
I’m glad this worked out. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to kit us up if any other questions or issues pop up.
Cheers!
