Event list not in chrono order

I’m having the same problem as some others in the forum, where the events are not listing in chronological order by event date. (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-listing-out-of-order/)

I have updated The Events Calendar plugin to 4.1.3 (I also have the TEC Pro 4.1.2), which I thought was supposed to address this bug but it’s not working for me.
