Event exclusion won't honor "a different day" setting

Hi there,

I’m working with your plugin, and I have a set of events that are recurring every month, on the last Wednesday of each month. Except, every November and December. I have my exclusion rule set to the values shown in the attached screenshot, but it won’t honor those. Once I hit update, it reverts the exclusion back to “the same day” which isn’t helpful.

Can you help me out, maybe I’m misunderstanding the exclusion rule setup? I’ve tried disabling all other plugins, and switching to the Twenty Fifteen (I don’t have Twenty Fourteen anymore) theme, and it’s still happening.
