Event Calendar widget not customizable

Upon viewing my home page while logged into wp-admin, in the customise view where you can adjust site identity, menu’s, widget, I try to customise EC by clicking the arrow. I am unable adjust any part of the Event calendar widget because it will not expand, this includes deleting it. I can add another EC widget but then I cannot open that to delete that so I leave the page without updating. I have installed the recent versions of every thing so I am not sure if there is a conflict.

We are sorry to hear about the fact that you are unable to customize the Events Calendar. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

It is totally possible that your theme is not compatible with our built-in customizer.

In any case, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Secondly, could you tell me if your site is part of a multisite network ?
