ParticipantHi guys,
Been using Event Calendar Pro for a year, no complaints until now. Just upgraded to the latest versions (EC 3.12.3 with Pro 3.12.4) and my WordPress performance has taken a sudden nosedive, even on the backend where pages are taking up to 30 seconds to load.
Event Calendar by itself is fine — performance just bottoms out when I activate Pro.
I can’t leave EC up and running on Production, will see if I can create a test instance so you can see what I mean ..

ParticipantMine too. It’s killing my WordPress installation. By disabling everything else, I’ve narrowed it down to The Events Calendar Pro.
Please fix!

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
Thanks for providing the system information, did this just happen once you upgraded? Or did older versions have the issue too?
How many events do you have? How many recurring events?
Is the issue happening right now or does it come are certain parts of the day?
Let me know and we can go from here.
Hi Communicatio,
Thanks for posting here. I can certainly help you here, but we can help you better if you create your own topic in the forum, where we can interact with you one on one. Also, we encourage you to post on your own topic because every time we post it will email the author of the topic.
In that new topic please provide your system information:

So if you can let me know what you find out in a new topic by following the above we can help you there, but if you like you can still post what you find here.
Thanks

MemberHi,
The license key is only needed for Automatic Updates so you can install the plugin on a test site and do not need to activate it with the license.
Can you try using a plugin like Query Monitor:
That does a good job of showing slow queries, maybe that will show what the cause is for this.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks
