ParticipantHello,
I have almost 800 members. I am attempting to use the Events – Email Users – Notify Users about this Post feature. However, when I log in to my Webmail Horde Groupware 5.2.6 I am getting Mail Delivery System message Mail Delivery Deferred: returning message to sender. A copy of an email to one of the members is here:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a temporary error. The following address(es) deferred:[email protected]

Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bitI have never received this type of “error” before. I am not “tech savvy”. The message says this is a “Temporary error” but the email notification never gets delivered. Does the Notification feature have a maximum amount of members it will email a notification to? Or is this an issue with Webmail Hoarde? I need to be able to send mass emails.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can try to help out here.
We do not have a event notification feature so I am not sure where this is coming from.
If it is from another plugin then they would have to provide support on it.
Although I do not most if not all hosting services with shared hosting place a limit on how many emails can be sent out per hour or per day. Many time that range is 200 to 400 emails max depending on the service.
Anyway, let me know what is sending these emails and I can try to help out some more.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the information.
It is not out plugin that has that feature so I cannot help troubleshoot it unfortunately.
Can you provide your system information in a private reply:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I can at least try to figure out the plugin that is doing it from that information and they might be able to help then.
Thanks
