Hi. This is my first project using event calendar pro. I am having some difficulty replicating the default view in pages.
The calendar itself, functionality, works great. Here is the default view (not a page I created):
    http://horizonhs.wpengine.com/training-event/

So, I need to make two pages – (1) classroom and (2) seminar.
For these pages, I want that exact view shown above, just filtered by category.
    http://horizonhs.wpengine.com/training-events/classroom/
    http://horizonhs.wpengine.com/training-events/seminars-workshops/

I created about 14 events, 12 classroom and 2 seminar.

The filtering works great with canned shortcodes –
    i.e. [tribe_mini_calendar category=”Seminar”]
The proper events display… just in a different view… what gives?

Also, this is my first post.
I did a legit search of the forums for this topic, but if it is found somewhere REALLY obvious, I owe you a coke.

    Good evening William,

Welcome to the Tribe and thank you for contacting us!

I might be wrong, but at first glance, it looks like the page you are trying to replicate was not created using short codes.

Although the shortcodes are amazing, unfortunately, they do not allow you to reproduce the same visual as the full fledged main calendar view at this point.

The http://horizonhs.wpengine.com/training-event/ page was more likely produced through some code customization in the Champion WordPress theme or by using a custom page template. If you look at the page <body> tag and compare it to your own, you can get a better sense of what I mean.

Either way, I would recommend taking a look of the page you are trying to reproduce is setup in the backend of your WordPress install and if you can to take a look at the your theme files to see if you can find a page template or some form of customization you can reuse.

Let me know what your findings are.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.

    Thanks Geoff.
You are 100%, the page I am trying to replicate was not created via short codes.
That page was available instantly after installing the Events Calendar.
It appeared as our default page.

I can change the URL, and have played around with settings.
But am still searching for page code / a template I can duplicate.
    I’ll keep looking!

    Good afternoon William,

I am glad the answer was helpful to you.

You are right, reproducing the main view with specific filters will require some customization.

Several of our customers have had success with creating their own page templates and function calls to display.
If you haven’t already, I would recommend taking a look at our functions documentation.

Other customers have also used custom URLs combined with some page redirection plugins to address their custom needs.

As you might guess, unfortunately, the scope of our support doesn’t allow us to provide you with complete customization instructions.
But we hope we can at least point you in the right direction so that you can achieve what you are looking for.

Either way, please let me know if I can assist you further to get you started in this undertaking.

    Have a great weekend,

    Geoff B.

So, we use The Events Calendar PRO.
What version what version of WordPress are you compatible with?
Our Events Calendar PRO Plugin is version 4.0.5
Does that work with WordPress 4.4 and 4.4.1?

Hi again. With regards to reproducing the main view with specific filters and creating our own page templates and function calls to display… Is there someone we can work with (pay) to do this for us?
