ParticipantHello, I’m not the content creator of the content so I don’t remember if this was an exact feature when I was working on creating event mock ups but it was reported to me that the Add New Event page had some feature that are no longer working? I’ll give to examples.
Under Time and Date, there was the ability to have a calendar pull up to select the date instead of manually typing it in and it appears to be gone now?
Under the Location there was the ability to Add a new one quickly via the drop down?
Were these features that were in the plugin? Is there some kind of error on our end?
Thanks in advance.

ParticipantHi Alex,
The date pickers and location pickers should indeed still work, so based on what you described, it sounds like there is a JavaScript error in the admin of your site.
I would recommend performing the steps on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
After EACH STEP in that process, check out the “Add New Event” screen you describe here; does anything improve with these two issues you described?
Let us know what you find in this testing!

ParticipantActually used the console in the browser and I’m getting the can not serve mixed content error. Our Server is over https so I’m guessing the javascript src that is in some of the event calendar plugin is linked to regular http in the code? What can I do on my end about this?

ParticipantHey Alex,
A mixed content error would indeed mean what you describe, where some resources are coming over https and others over http — this will cause the problems you face.
As for why this is happening, I cannot recreate these problems on my own site. However, we have heard from one other customer about a similar issue on the front end of their site, so I will bring this issue to our development team and see if they are related.
There may be a bug here; I will keep investigating this and report back with more information as soon as I have it!
Stay tuned,
