Event Archive Page Title changes to "undefined" when using browser back button

I’m having the same problem as what was outlined in the closed thread here:

When you are on an event archive page:
http://www.characterspub.com/events/category/special-events/

And click on an event, then, use the browser’s back button to return to the archive page, the page’s title appears correctly for 1-3 seconds, then an AJAX call from Event Calendar changes the title to “undefined”. I’ve tried this on multiple computers with the same results. I’ve disabled all plugins other than The Event Calendar, and this problem continues to happen.

Any insight into how to resolve this?

I definitely see the problem on your site and though I don’t see quite the same issue with a default theme there is definitely an unwanted effect happening and I suspect it’s fundamentally the same issue at work.
