Event Archive Filtering

I’m considering buying the Pro version, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to have a calendar list of past events that can be filtered by year. So I could select “2012” and see all the events from that year.

Thanks for emailing support. Yes, with filter bar add-on you can search and sort previous years and months.

Is that documented? I looked at
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-filter-bar/, and there doesn’t seem to be a Year filter.

Hi there,

The year filter is built in so its just part of the plugin by default. You can see it in action here:

Click on “Date” and you can see the options to change the year and month as desired.

That filters to a starting day. I’m hoping to select a specific year and see all the events from that year. This makes me drill down to a day and just starts the list on that day.

Ah, I see. There is not an option to do that. Granted, it could be possible to customize the plugin but that would fall under custom development and not be supported.

We do have a list of customizers if you want to go that route.
